Culture Identity Awareness (C.I.A)

Posted October 11, 2013 by Shankill Alternatives in Updates

A newly formed group from Twadell got together to create a group in which they wanted to learn more about culture and identity. There are many different religions and cultures within Northern Ireland and the CIA group seen this as a chance to try and educate themselves on other different cultures/ identities but also for a chance to educate themselves on their own Protestant culture/ identity. We took them go karting as part of a team building night to Need for Speed in Doagh. It was a chance the young people  and staff to bond with each other and learn more about each other. The night ran smoothly and fun was had by all with plenty of competition to see how could “race to the top” of the leader board.
